are held at 7.30pm on the 1st Wednesday of each month, at the Echuca Hotel.

- The Splash and Dash Series are handicapped events. The quicker you are the bigger the handicap.
- A pool admission fee applies to non-pool members when the event is held at the YMCA.
- A pool admission fee applies when the event is held at the Moama Pool.
- You can compete as an individual or as a team.
- Swim caps must be worn during the swim leg.

'Vic Park Boat Ramp'

Swim
All swims are downstream in the Murray and finish at the boat ramp.
Swims are either 300 or 600 metres.

9km Bike
From boat ramp proceed to Dickson Rd, turn right into Warren St, then left onto the Murray Valley Hwy. When you reach the roundabout, turn around and head back the same way.

115km Bike
From boat ramp proceed to Dickson Rd, turn right into Warren St, then left onto the Murray Valley Hwy. Proceed through the roundabout towards Rochester and turn left into Rose St. This street turns into Campaspe Esp. When you reach Ogilvie Ave, turn left and head back to the roundabout. At the roundabout, turn right onto the Murray Valley Hwy, then right into Warren St. At the end of Warren St turn left into Dickson St and proceed back to the Victoria Park boat ramp.

21km Bike
From boat ramp proceed to Dickson Rd. (This road will turn into High St.) When you reach Haygarth St, turn left and ride straight through the big roundabout until you reach the Sturt St roundabout. Turn left onto Pakenham St and follow this road for about 7-8km until you reach a turn around point marked on the road. Turn around and proceed back to the Victoria Park boat ramp.

1.8km Run
From the boat ramp, run upstream, along the levy bank onto Watson St, past the port of Echuca and turn at the Archway next to the Bridge Hotel. Proceed back the same way to the Scenic Drive boat ramp.
3.6km Run
Repeat above course twice
5.5km Run
From the boat ramp, run downstream along scenic drive. However, instead of running around the school, you turn off and run over the sand hill, behind the tennis courts and back to the boat ramp.

Swim
Swims vary between 200 and 300 metres in the pool.

9km Bike
From the pool, ride along Ogilvie Ave, over the train tracks, turn left into Sturt Street, then right into Pakenham Street. Follow this road until you reach the Yarraby Caravan Park turnoff (River Ave). Turn left into River Ave.When you reach Yarraby Caravan Park, turn around and head back the same way. When you get to the Pakenham Street roundabout, go straight thru and then make your way back to the YMCA.

15km Bike
From the pool, ride along Ogilvie Ave, past the sale yards and onto Mitchell Rd before the sweeping bend. When Mitchell Rd meets, Simmie Rd, turn left and follow the road all the way to Bangerang Rd. (Don’t take the shortcut) Turn left into Bangerang Rd and ride into town over the railway line and turn left into Hare St. Ride along Hare St and turn right into Darling St then left into High St. Follow this road back to the pool.

2.36km Run
From the YMCA pool, run around the pool along Olgilvie Ave and turn left into Hare St. Run all the way along Hare St until you reach Coles. At Coles, turn left into Darling St, then left into High St. Follow High St back to the YMCA pool.

4.72km Run
Repeat above course twice.

 

                                     


 

'Moama Pool Course'
'Moama Pool Course'

Swim
Swim is either 200 or 300 metres in the pool. The pool is only 25mtres long.

11km Bike
Exit the bike compound via Francis St, and ride over the railway line to the roundabout. Proceed straight through the roundabout into Chanter St and follow this road to Edward St. Turn left into Edward St and follow this road until the bitumen runs out and then turn around and proceed back to the Chanter St roundabout. From this round-about you turn-around and do a second loop before proceeding back to the bike compound.

14.5km Bike
Exit the bike compound via Francis St, and ride over the railway line to the roundabout. Proceed straight through the roundabout into Chanter St and follow this road to Edward St. Turn left into Edward St and then right into Old Barmah Rd. The turn-around point is on this road just before the bitumen runs out. Proceed back to the Chanter St roundabout. From this round-about you turn-around and do a second loop before proceeding back to the bike compound.

2.5km Run
Exit the bike compound via Blair St and run towards Barnes Road to Moama St. Turnaround and then proceed back to the pool.
